Operators licence for Lydney firm

M.C. Stennett & Sons, trading as Stennetts Transport of Place Farm, The Street, Ingham, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (IP31 1NQ), has applied for an operator’s licence to use DAJ Properties Ltd, Allastone Grove, Allastone Road, Lydney (GL15 4EX), as an operating centre for one goods vehicle and one trailer.

Owners or occupiers of land or buildings near the proposed operating centre who believe their use or enjoyment of that land may be adversely affected are invited to submit written representations to the Traffic Commissioner, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds (LS2 7UE). Representations must be made within 21 days of this notice, with a copy sent at the same time to the applicant at the address above.

Estate claims sought

Claims are being invited in relation to the estate of the late Dave Bernard Brown, formerly of 31 Kings Meadow Court, Lydney (GL15 5JU), who passed away on 9 July 2022. In accordance with the Trustee Act 1925, any individual or organisation believing they have a claim against, or an interest in, Mr Brown’s estate is required to submit written particulars to the appointed solicitors by 7 May 2026. After this date, the estate will be distributed with consideration only to those claims of which prior notice has been received.

Estate of Vera Stacey

Claims are invited concerning the estate of Vera Stacey, formerly of Kestral House, Pillowell Road, Whitecroft, Lydney, Gloucestershire (GL15 4RL), who died on 24 November 2025. Under the Trustee Act 1925, anyone with a claim against, or an interest in, her estate must submit written particulars to the undersigned by 26 April 2026. Temporary road closure at Dymock

Gloucestershire County Council has announced a temporary closure of the C56 road from Field Cottage to the junction at The Rocks, between Brooms Green and Chapel Pitch, for approximately 160 metres. The closure is required to allow bridge survey works to take place. The road will be closed from March 9 until March 19 , or until the works are completed. No pedestrian or emergency access will be permitted.
