RESIDENTS of Primrose Hill in the Forest of Dean have been treated to a charming spring sight, as a group of ewes and lambs were spotted grazing on the front lawns of houses in the area.

The animals appeared content as they wandered across the grassy verges, with locals stopping to watch and snap photos of the unexpected visitors.

Jeff Powell, who lives in the area, said: “Why wouldn’t they with all that lovely grass”

Another local, Dave Harry Hamm, added: “Joy’s of forest living”

It’s not uncommon for livestock to stray into residential areas in the Forest, but the arrival of the lambs has been warmly welcomed by many.
