A KNIFE-WIELDING thug who made death threats to a Lydney mother has been jailed for two years.
Tania Manka was terrified after opening her front door to find Alexander Venn brandishing a bread knife and demanding to see her son.
Gloucester Crown Court was told that Venn pushed his way into her home at Summerleaze, Lydney and continued to make threats saying: 'I'll kill you, you bitch.'.
Police found him in a neighbouring street with a metal bar, but he gave himself up when he saw the red dot of a Taser gun aimed at his body.
Venn admitted affray, having a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon and was jailed for two years.
