RICHARD Henry showed his class with the bat by guiding Cinderford St John to victory in the Dymock Knockout on Sunday.
They might be struggling in the West of England's Gloucestershire Division this season, but Cinderford were too strong for their cup rivals on finals day.
Henry's 80 not out and Richard Bywater's 47 led Cinderford to a formidable score of 159-3 against Aston Ingham in the final.
Aston were never in the hunt and they finished well short on 107-9. Dan Field was the destroyer with 5-17.
David Lacey top scored with 25 lower down the order as Cinderford rotated their bowlers in the second part of the innings.
In the morning's first semi-final, Aston Ingham beat Gloucester Civil Service by 34 runs.
Aston scored 121-9 with a top score of 30 from Tim Dulson.
Civil Service could only muster 87 all out, Phil Leighton taking 4-23, Jack Carpenter 3-15 and Andy Bevan 2-19.
Player of the day Richard Henry also starred for Cinderford in their semi-final defeat of Ruardean Hill.
The Hillmen scored a respectable 131-3 in 20 overs with Richard Hoult making a fine 47.
It looked like the game might go either way until Henry took command, striking 22 off one Adam Cole over.
Henry was unbeaten on 85 as Cinderford sealed victory in the 17th over.
