GROVE Road in Berry Hill has been described as ‘like a snooker table’ because of the amount of holes it has.

And, said Forest of Dean district councillor Tim Gwilliam, the road, which is an important thoroughfare through the village, is getting to a stage where it is close to being ‘dangerous’.

The pothole problems have been on-going for seven years and has caused a lot of comments on social media.

Gloucestershire County Council officials are believed to have inspected the road with local residents in February.

But nothing has been confirmed about action since, said Cllr Gwilliam.
