A Forest of Dean restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Whitemead Forest Park, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Folly Road, Parkend, Lydney, Glos was given the maximum score after assessment on May 9, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of the Forest of Dean's 252 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 229 (91%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
