A 37-year-old Mitcheldean woman accused of assaulting a man in Longhope last summer has been cleared after the prosecution dropped the case against her.
Eleanor Doe of Courtfield Cottages, Townend, had pleaded not guilty to assaulting the man by beating him on 11th August 2025.
But at a hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Monday, August 24, the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence and the charge was dismissed.
She was formally declared not guilty.
