A 25-year-old Huntley man accused of strangling a woman has been remanded in custody pending trial at Gloucester Crown Court.
Benjamin Tregartha of Poplars Grove, Huntley is alleged to have intentionally strangled the woman at Huntley on 23rd March this year.
He did not enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court last week.
The magistrates’ committed him to Gloucester Crown Court for trial and told him he will remain in custody till he makes his first appearance at the higher court on 24th September.
