AN 80 year-old Coleford women who admitted racially aggravated harassment of another woman in the town on a dozen occasions last year has been conditionally discharged for six months by Cheltenham maagistrates.

Shirley Hook of Crescent Close pleaded guilty to pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of her victim in Coleford between May and October 2022.

The charge set out 12 dates from May 10 to October when Hook verbally abused the other woman in The Crescent, Coleford, and that the offence was racially aggravated.

She was conditionally discharged for six months but there no financial orders against her because of her ‘limited means.’
