TRIBUTES have been paid to a talented snooker player found dead in the woods after a major search by police and friends.

Jason Cook was found at Soudley less than 24 hours after being reported missing.

Friends from across the Forest became concerned when they found his white Vauxhall Corsa at the beauty spot at 8am on Easter Monday.

They say the well known 31-year-old was a talented and hard working, young man.
