THREE vehicles were involved in a rush-hour collision near Elton Corner.

An ambulance was called to the scene on the A4151 Elton Road yesterday but no-one involved required treatment for injuries.

A white Volkswagen van, silver Vauxhall Vectra, and blue Peugeot 205 were all damaged in the crash, about 300 yards from the A48 junction. All vehicles appeared to be travelling in the same direction, towards Elton Corner.

Police were called at 7.20am and the road was reopened at 8.45am.
