FOREST of Dean neighbourhood officers have outlined a busy period of policing activity in Cinderford, with work ranging from seizing a vehicle to tackling anti-social behaviour alongside partner agencies.

The Forest North Neighbourhood Policing Team said officers had continued to work closely with local organisations, response colleagues and residents to address concerns across the town.

As part of proactive policing, officers seized a vehicle, although no further details about the circumstances have been released.

The team also carried out CCTV enquiries as part of ongoing investigations, gathering evidence to support a number of cases.

Alongside enforcement work, officers attended a series of community and multi-agency meetings, sharing information with partner organisations to discuss local issues and identify ways of supporting residents.

Police also worked alongside housing association partners while serving injunction papers linked to ongoing anti-social behaviour concerns, helping to address issues affecting local neighbourhoods.

During the weekend, neighbourhood officers also assisted response teams dealing with emergency and priority incidents across the area, helping to ensure a timely policing response when required.

In a community update, the Forest North Neighbourhood Policing Team said it remained committed to maintaining a visible presence in Cinderford and taking positive action where problems are identified.

Officers are continuing to encourage residents to report concerns in their communities, saying information provided by the public helps them build a clearer picture of issues affecting the area and target resources where they are needed.
