A SEARCH is continuing for a missing man believed to be travelling across Gloucestershire on foot after two possible sightings were reported in Lydney.

Frazer, 38, was last confirmed to have been seen leaving an address in Ashton Keynes, near Cirencester, in the early hours of Sunday, September 6.

His friends have since been searching for him, with reported sightings stretching across the county and two possible sightings in the Forest of Dean.

Long-time friend Oona said the Lydney sightings were reported on Monday evening, raising the possibility that Frazer had travelled into the Forest.

She said: "There's been two possible sightings in Lydney, the Forest of Dean on Monday evening.

"We believe he's travelling on foot. We don't believe he has a phone on him, or bank cards."

Other possible sightings have since been reported near Over Farm on the A40, where a man believed to be Frazer was seen walking towards Gloucester at around 5.30pm on Tuesday.

Further reports were made near Chesterton Farm and Cirencester College on Wednesday morning.

Frazer was reported missing after leaving his girlfriend's home in Ashton Keynes while believed to be in distress.

Oona said he was experiencing a mental health crisis but stressed that he was not considered dangerous.

Wiltshire Police said Frazer was wearing a green shirt, brown or khaki shorts or trousers and black shoes when he disappeared. He has a number of tattoos and may be wearing sunglasses with his hood up.

He may also be carrying a small blue rucksack on his front and a larger rucksack on his back.

Frazer has connections to Gloucester, where he has lived for around 15 years, as well as Bristol and Cornwall.

Friends have continued searching for him, with Oona saying a large group was involved in efforts to find him.

Police have asked residents to check CCTV and doorbell footage which could help establish Frazer's movements.

Anyone who sees Frazer or has information which could help locate him is urged to call 999, quoting log 51 of September 6.
