THE PUBLIC is invited to a live in-person event which centres around Gloucestershire's local brewers, cider makers and wine growers.

On Saturday, October 3 from 10am at the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub, Clarence Row, Alvin Street, Gloucester.

The event, known as Hops, Apples and Grapes, will see a talk at 1.30pm, and a document display about local breweries, and of course free refreshments.

The talk of the day will be by Amber Patrick, discussing the history of Gloucestershire breweries.

There is car parking on site, a garden and picnic area, and local cafes nearby.
