OTHER professional clubs might be pulling out of the district, but Bristol Rovers are increasing their scouting resources in the Forest.

Rovers are opening a development centre in Lydney, with a view to spotting and developing talents for their academy. They will be holding trials in February.

Development Centre manager Marco Chiavetta said: "We're looking at the Forest for the first time – we've heard there are good kids up there and we want to give them a chance."
