LYDNEY TOWN Football Club is seeking planning permission to put up a second stand at their Recreation Ground.

The club is flying on and off the pitch right now, following a 9-1 win over New College Swindon Academy on Saturday. Promotion back to the Hellenic Premier is the number one goal and manager Mark Lee believes his side can definitely challenge for the title. They trail leaders Longlevens by five points but have a game in hand.
