Mangotsfield Utd 1

Cinderford Town 3

AARON Cornwall scored twice from the penalty-spot as Cinderford wore down the struggling hosts with a disciplined all-round display.

United went in front in the sixth minute when Mitchell Page headed in a Parrinello cross from close range.

Town's equaliser came just before the half-hour mark after Colbourne brought down Cornwall in the box. The striker got up to place the ball confidently into the bottom right corner.

Both sides had chances before the break.

Town keeper Alex Harris saved well from Karim Rendall, while at the other end McCootie forced a smart stop from Astley after racing onto a poor defensive header from Marshall.

The match turned Cinderford's way five minutes into the second half.

Mangotsfield keeper Chris Astley was sent off after bringing down Nick McCootie in the penalty-area to deny him a goal-scoring opportunity.

Cornwall fired home his second penalty of the afternoon, this time beating stand-in keeper Hoyle.

Two minutes later, Greg Lewis jumped higher than Hoyle to score Town's third goal from a floated free-kick.

On an uneven pitch, Cinderford had to work hard to break down a physical home team, but they dominated against 10 men.

Sub Dean Lee had two great chances to extend the lead, but he shot straight at Hoyle on both occasions.
