LYDNEY Rugby Club has been awarded Lottery funding of £50,000 to invest in its facilities – meaning the club's infamous cold showers will soon be a thing of the past.

The club will be putting in a green biomass system – which produces less CO2, needs less maintenance and is cheaper to run.
