CINDERFORD'S Chance Ridler was called before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel at the Bristol Filton Holiday Inn on Tuesday night.

Ridler is charged with conduct prejudicial to the interests of the Union and/or the game, contrary to Rule 5.12 of the Rules of the RFU.

It's alleged that between April 16, 2012 and July 2, 2012 he made statements on his Twitter account relating to the use and distribution of performance enhancing drugs.

The panel, chaired by Christopher Quinlan, adjourned the hearing to take further time to consider the case. The outcome of the disciplinary hearing is expected to be known within seven days.
