IN 2006, Paul Hudson was told he might never walk again after a horrific rugby accident.
Now, the 47-year-old from Lydney is preparing to run next month's London Marathon.
Paul was playing for Bream against Bristol Saracens in October 2006 when he was spear-tackled onto his head and his life changed forever.
He said: "I was running through a gap and got flipped upside down.
"Instead of my chin going down on my chest it went the other way. The crashing motion pushed a disc out from the vertebrae and into my spinal cord."
