Coleford youngster Andrew Mills will box on a 12-card fight night on Sunday evening for Cancer Research UK at the Hatherley Manor Hotel near Gloucester.

The 21-year-old is a member of Cinderford ABC, and a newcomer to the sport, having had just two fights prior to Sunday, s charity evening.

The sell out evening is being organised by the Ultra White boxing, with all training taking place at the fight factory boxing gym in Gloucester.

Although he will more than likely be up against a more experienced fighter, he is looking to gain experience and the only way to do that is to get regular fights.

"I am really looking forward to this, when i saw it advertised, i thought i would like to be involved, given its for an excellent cause, and i would also gain more experience, its been hard work going to Gloucester twice a week for training, and then the gym in between times, but i hope to put on a good showing " said Mills

" Boxing is something I’ve always enjoyed watching, so when the opportunity arose to join Cinderford boxing club, i thought if i don’t do it now, i may regret it so i have to get my head down train hard, and see where it takes me ".
