CINDERFORD have added to their squad by agreeing to dual registrations with Gloucester Rugby for four players.

Tom Heard, a regular in Cinderford' s front-row last season, is returning, along with second-row Tom Hicks, hooker Ryan Charles and scrum-half Reece Boughton.

"The aim is to fast track their development so they are knocking on the doors for a first XV place at Gloucester," said Cinderford director of rugby Andy Deacon.

"We have a positive and close relationship with Gloucester Rugby.

"Just recently we loaned Nev Codlin to Gloucester for the JP Morgan Sevens and we all know how successful that was. Last season we had a healthy number of Cinderford players running out in a cherry & white shirt for the Gloucester A team."

Gloucester's director of rugby Nigel Davies also feels the loan deal can benefit his club.

He said: "I have said before that I believe Cinderford can push on up and reach the top tier of this competitive league and we are pleased to support them.
