PAUL Michael refused to hide behind a disallowed goal for offside as the reason his Cinderford Town team lost for the first time in seven games as they lost 2-1 to visitors Highworth Town.
The Foresters had a goal ruled out in the Southern League Division One South clash as James Harding headed home from beyond the goalkeeper.
But referee Steve Darnell, with the help of his assistant, ruled him offside despite there appearing to be two Highworth defenders on the goal line.
