KEIRAN Thomas and Ethan Moore’s transfers from Cinderford Town to National League North side Gloucester City are imminent after the two clubs agreed compensation.
Thomas captain Town to the Southern League Division One South & West title last term, while Moore was the club’s top goalscorer en route to the championship, netting 29 goals in the league.
The pair have been watched on numerous occasions by City boss Tim Harris, who was in charge at the Causeway in 1995 when Town last won a league title.
Harris oversaw a treble in the Hellenic League that year, as his side won the Premier Division, Floodlit and Challenge cups.
Thomas and Moore are the latest in a line of players to leave Cinderford Town after the club confirmed their wish to reject promotion due to financial concerns.
