WHEN 58-year-old Brian Payne turns up for football on a Saturday afternoon the opposition often mistake him for the ref.
Then he puts on the famous Worrall Hill shirt and runs out alongside the grandsons of many of the players he started out with 45 years ago.
"I've been lucky with injuries but I still feel really fit," he said.
"I train hard and I look forward to every Saturday.
"The reason I can motivate myself to keep going to the gym several times a week is because I want to play football at the end of it.
"When you smell the liniment in the dressing room you get the buzz.
"I still get butterflies before a match."
