CORSE and Staunton captain Tim Dannatt believes the club’s three consecutive wins has sent a clear statement to the rest of the West of England League Gloucestershire Division.

Corse’s one-wicket tirumph over Frocester seconds on Saturday followed victories against Rockhampton and Bourton Vale.

And Dannatt says defeating some of the league’s mainstays proves the club’s determination to avoid another season of going back and forth between this level and the Gloucestershire County League competition.

“We’re not just little Corse and Staunton. We’re not just a little village club,” he said.
