CINDERFORD Town manager John Brough is gunning for promotion in 2015/16.

Brough’s men finished ninth in Southern League Division One South & West last year, gaining a club-record points total of 67 and challenging for a play-off place for much of the season.

Town host Bashley on Saturday, who finished bottom last term but were given a relegation reprieve over the summer.

And despite the turmoil Bashley have been engulfed in during pre-season, after sacking manager David Stride 40 days into his tenure, and Brough expects a stern test at The Causeway on Saturday.
