IT will be a new look Cinderford side taking to the field in National League One this season, following a summer of comings and goings at Dockham Road.

Director of Rugby Andy Deacon has made 22 new signings and admits the club is 'in transition'.

Skipper Will Foden, locks Ben West and Dale Critchley, scrum-half Jack O'Connell, prop Leigh Green and back-rows Rob Langley and Luke Allen have all left the club.

Allen, a former club captain, has joined Henley.

Others to depart are Kai Done, Ben Sparks and Stuart Bailey.

New backs coach Brad Davies was the star summer signing and is expected to form an exciting midfield partnership with Jack Adams.

This week, Deacon revealed his other new additions, who include former Preston Grasshoppers back-row Will Keenan and ex-Gloucester scrum-half Clive Stuart-Smith.

Former Berry Hill and Lydney lock Jimmy Matthews has returned from Australia and according to Deacon, is looking 'sharp and hungry' in training.
