CINDERFORD St John went down by six wickets away at Bourton Vale.
Put into bat, Cinderford lost opener Cartwright for nought and struggled to get any worthwhile partnerships going.
Matthew Whitney compiled a good 53, including nine fours, but when he became the sixth man out Cinderford's score stood at just 128.
Led by skipper Craig Rich, the lower order showed some fight.
Rich (33) added 46 with Craig Kibble, but both got out in quick succession.
Mark Roberts (23 not out) hit three fours and a six to get his side up to 207-8 after 45 overs.
Needing an early breakthrough, Cinderford struggled for wickets.
Openers Anderson and Galpin put on 63, until Craig Kibble dismissed both men.
Bourton Vale consolidated with a stand of 68 from Whitney and Geddes.
Both went in the 30s, but Langley and Hughes picked up the tempo to see their side home in the 41st over.
