Letter to the Editor: I would like to say thank you for the excellent summation of the present situation in the Middle East by Mr Shenoi.

Perhaps if more of the misguided people on the pro Palestine marches and gleefully calling out “ from the river to the sea” and worse read a little history they would understand the complexity of the situation.

The Hydra has many heads and there are so many other terrorist organisations waiting for their day of glory.
