The Golden Valley development is a massive housing scheme located on the edge of Cheltenham. At its core adjacent to the GCHQ ‘doughnut’ is a National ‘Cyber Innovation Centre’

Cheltenham Borough Council is leading the development alongside a company called Plexal as the ‘partner’ responsible for delivering the Innovation Centre. However, hidden inside Plexal is another party that the Borough Council was probably unaware of – an Israeli cyber-innovation company called SOSA.

All of the directors in SOSA have served in the Israeli Military and are deeply embedded in its military tech and defence institutions. This is where their expertise was gained.

In the Gaza conflict, ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) has been used by the Israeli military to automate ‘target generation’.

Platforms like "Lavender" and "Gospel" hoover up vast surveillance and intelligence data to identify, locate, and process thousands of potential human and structural targets daily. The data includes what people watch on TV, their relatives and neighbours, their relationships, their backgrounds, photographs, information from spies, mobile phones etc. It is then put into an algorithm estimating the ‘probability’ of them being a ‘terrorist’.

If they become a target, then it is ‘permissible’ to exterminate them and their family and their neighbours. We have seen this happening in Gaza.

This is what the future holds. AI means that we can be targeted by combining information from a wide range of sources that can then assess the probability of any of us being ‘a risk’ of this or that based on an algorithm. It is no longer science fiction.

There are two reasons for being alarmed at the SOSA connection. First, Israel’s behaviour makes it a pariah state that we should have nothing to do with. Secondly, the slaughter in Gaza has been achieved using the very systems that the National Cyber Innovation Centre wishes to emulate with SOSA. It is led by people who served in the very killing machine responsible for these atrocities and who have a prime loyalty to Israel and are a serious security risk to the UK.

On January 26, 2024 the International Court of Justice ruled that it was plausible that a genocide was taking place in Gaza. It is now being investigated by the Court. All countries that recognise the Court, which includes the UK, have a legal duty to take steps to prevent such genocide.

However, contrary to this, the British Government and European countries have bent over backwards to shield Israel from scrutiny and criticism. Britain has taken direct action against publications and individuals to silence critics. Moreover, it has provided armaments, ordinance, training and ‘intelligence’ through spy-flights operating over Gaza.

Why is this? Because ‘the west’ is preparing for war against Russia and ultimately China to try and rescue its declining global domination. Israel is a key ally given its battlefield and AI technological experience.

The UK is quite prepared to ignore the genocide of Palestinians and the slaughter of tens of thousands of children to maintain this alliance. It is sheer evil.
