A 55-year-old Yorkley man caught speeding in a Transit van near Lydney while not wearing a seat belt has been ordered to pay £224 in fines, costs and surcharges.
Cheltenham magistrates also imposed four penalty points on the licence of David Saunders, of Parkend Road, Yorkley, after he admitted exceeding 66mph on the A48 Lydney by-pass between Hurst Farm and Naas Lane on November 17 2021 and not wearing a seat belt on the same occasion.
He had initially denied the charges but changed his pleas to guilty at a later hearing.
