WHEN you write to your MP, copy the letter to Baroness Jan Royall of Blaisdon and put Forest of Dean on the envelope or email subject.
HOOF is now urging supporters in our letter-writing campaign to follow a suggestion by legal expert Alan Robertson.
He said that by sending a copy of your letter or email to Baroness Royall (and informing MPs of this), it will help prevent your views from being disregarded.
He also urged everyone at Friday's public meeting in Cinderford to get 10 of their friends to write.
Write to Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman and minister James Paice, as well as Mark Harper MP at House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA, and email at [email protected]">[email protected], [email protected]">[email protected] and [email protected]">[email protected]
Baroness Royall can be contacted at House of Lords, London, SW1A 0PW and [email protected]">[email protected]
Please also write en masse to the Guardian, Telegraph, Times and Independent and also to Lords not aligned to any party. Search for crossbench Lords online at http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/lords/">www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/lords/
HOOF asks people to express their views in the most direct and best way they can.
