A 39-year-old woman who assaulted a man in Cinderford last November has been jailed for six weeks.

Donna Price of no fixed address pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court to assaulting Darryl Hodges by beating him at Cinderford on November 5.

The magistrates said the offence was so serious that only immediate prison could be justified because of the nature of the attack within a domestic context and because it was aggravated by previous convictions.
