SOME Forest of Dean locals will be able to access free flu and Covid-19 vaccinations this month at drop-in clinics.

NHS Gloucestershire is looking to help those at highest risk of severe illness from the viruses, including all adults aged 75 years and over, residents in older adult registered care homes, and people aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed.

Dr Hein Le Roux, local GP and Deputy Medical Director, said:“Flu and COVID-19 can be serious, especially for older people and those with long-term conditions. The vaccines are the best protection we have.”

Eligible Foresters can access clinics between 10am and 2pm on Friday, January 23 at Cinderford Tesco, Wednesday, January 28 at Lydney Tesco, and Thursday, January 29 at Coleford Clocktower.
