AROUND 120 people packed out Mitcheldean Community Centre to object against plans for a solar park overlooking the village.
Vantage Point Business Village and energy firm Bee Green Energy have submitted a planning application for 14,000 solar panels to be installed on current farmland on Breakheart Hill, near the business village.

Many villagers are concerned about the impact of the project on the character of Mitcheldean and turned out at last week's meeting to discuss the plans.
