ONLY one game survived the weather in the North Gloucestershire League this week, with Redbrook Rovers winning 2-0 at Aylburton Rovers in Division One.

It was 0-0 at half-time but a couple of second-half strikes from Gareth Ball turned the game in Redbrook's favour.

Redbrook only had 11 players available for the match because many thought the game would be off and made other arrangements for the day.

They were certainly grateful to an Aylburton supporter, who agreed to run the line for them.
