IT'S a far cry from working on a super yacht in Monaco, but the Wyedean Rally is definitely on the menu for top chef Scott Partridge.

Scott, 34, is the personal chef to a billionaire.

He travels all over the world, cooking for many famous people, but he's back home in Mitcheldean for the winter.

Scott has bought himself a fantastic group N 2004 Subaru Impreza to do his first Wyedean Rally.

It used to belong to Alister McRae, the rally driving brother of the late, great Colin McRae.

Scott told The Forester: "I did a bit of rallying years ago, but it will be a bit different in this car, it's phenomenal.

"I think Alister McRae used it on the PWRC World Championships, but wrote it off in Mexico. It's been rebuilt and not used much since."

The car is run by Graham Quick Motorsports near Ross.

Through them, Scott has linked up with ex-works co-driver Chris Ridge for the Wyedean.

Scott is currently working at the Mill Race, but he'll return to the high life in April.

His friend Phil Kiernan from the Farmer's Boy pub in Longhope has provided some sponsorship for the Wyedean, in return for help with the launch of his new business Mad About Pies.

Scott's grandfather Vince Partridge died in October, so Scott plans to set up his own Forvin Rally Team in his grandfather's memory.

"I'd like to do other events before I go back to work," he said.
