MEMBERS of the Dean Forest Railway’s youth group were on hand to help at a fun day at the attraction on Saturday.

The day included engines with faces, brake van rides and a chance to meet the author of the Forest Railway Stories – Matt Crossfield – which are based on the railway.

Members are pictured with the youth group’s first project, an engine chimney converted to a donations box.
