ANGRY traders in Cinderford are ligting up their own shop fronts, after the Daily Mail ran an online story about Cinderford's lights with the headline 'Are these the worst Christmas lights in Britain'?

Cinderford Town Council was told it must pay £60 to 'stress test' each column that would hold the lights, amounting to a total bill of more than £2,000 - which the council does not have allocated in its budget.
