PLANNING permission is being sought for the ambitious £100million Northern Quarter regeneration project.
After years of discussions and consultations, the Homes and Communities Agency has formally submitted the planning application to Forest of Dean District Council for a new Royal Forest of Dean campus for Gloucestershire College and a major spine road.
The agency has also submitted an outline planning application for a new hotel, employment and business space and a visitor centre.
Up to 195 new homes are due to be considered alongside detailed proposals for the college and spine road.
