Aretians 6

TWO tries in each half enabled Bream to maintain their recent momentum.

Jimmy Roberts seized on a loose ball at a line-out and made good ground with a trademark run. Jon Havers was up in support to get the touchdown.

Two penalties kept Aretians in the game. Both sides lost a man to the sin-bin as the players became frustrated by some of the referee's decisions. Bream extended their lead when a long floated pass from prop Rob Byett was latched onto by Wes Trigg.

The boot of Carl Rogers kept Aretians at bay and allowed Bream to keep up the pressure. Tai Lacabuka made some storming runs from full-back and was only denied on a couple of occasions by last-ditch tackles.

Sean James came off the bench to replace the injured Dan Hardy and was immediately in the game, scoring Bream's third try with a sniping run. Another smart break from scrum-half James paved the way for man of the match Mark Lee, playing at number eight, to score try number four.

Three different players took on the kicking duties for Bream but none of them were able to get the ball between the posts.
