Last summer Parkend's under 15 cricketers had a very successful season, winning the Wellon Cup, losing in the final of the six- a-side and finishing runners up in the Leadon Vale league. They were, in fact, the only side to beat league champions Ross.
Due to the league presentation evening not taking place, the club presented medals and trophies recently at the Fountain Inn.
This season the club is again running an U15 side, as well as U13 and U11,
However, most of that successful side have now moved up to play senior cricket. This has left the club looking for some U15 cricketers to play alongside the existing players.
