JOE Smart starts for Cinderford at home to Jersey tomorrow, after impressing as an early replacement away at Ealing last week.

Director of rugby Andy Deacon said: "We have been frustratingly close in many of our games. We are managing some injuries at this point in the season and this is where the big squad that we have comes into play. I was pleased to hear Sam Wilkes is much better now, out of hospital and plans to be back playing next month. The ups and downs are certainly emotional in this game yet we still have fantastic camaraderie within the team."

Tom Heard from Gloucester Academy comes onto the bench.

Luke Allen continues to captain the side as Adam Nicholls recovers full fitness from a hamstring injury. Dave McKee starts at number eight because George Evans has a knee niggle.

There will be a familiar face back at Dockham Road in James Copsey, who starred for Cinderford several years ago but now plays for Jersey.
