CINEMA owner Andy Lougher was devastated when The Palace in Cinderford flooded three times in five days with raw sewage from a nearby drainage system.

It's been a nightmare two weeks for the cinema boss – and it's the first time The Palace has flooded under his and wife Karen's stewardship.

On one occasion, the cinema flooded during a showing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

"It seems to have been either a partial blockage of the sewage line on Woodside Street, or maybe at the junction where several of the lines meet," said Andy.
