POLICE are looking for a suspicious salesman after a complaint from an elderly lady in Ellwood.

The young man was seen knocking on doors on the evening of Thursday, September 22.

He was offering domestic goods from his bag and claimed to be on work experience.

One elderly woman told police the visit left her feeling vulnerable and concerned.

The salesman, described as white, around 18 to 20 years old, of slim build with a pudding basin haircut and a northern accent.

Anyone who recognises the description or was visited by the man and hasn't spoken to police should call the new non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 113 of September 23.
