POLICE are on the search for a missing 65-year-old woman from Lydbrook.

Evelyn Ford left her home at 10am yesterday, Thursday September 3, and hasn’t been seen since.

Police describe her as very vulnerable and her disappearance out of character.

Evelyn is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, of medium build, with collar length grey straight hair. She usually wears a bottle green sweatshirt with a Spanish Water Dog logo on the front and loose fitting trousers or jeans and carries a red and yellow drawstring bag.

They are urging Evelyn or anyone who sees Evelyn to make contact with them on 101 straight away.

Officers believe Evelyn may be planning to travel outside the county, perhaps to Anglesey in North Wales, and are keen for people at taxi ranks, bus or train stations to be on the lookout.

Police would also like to hear from any of Evelyn’s estranged family, who it is believed live in Cheltenham.
