TWO planning applications affecting conservation areas in the Forest of Dean have been submitted to the district council.
The first proposal, reference P1216/26/ADV, seeks advertisement consent for the erection of two wall-mounted business signs along with window and door signage at 1 Court Lane, Newent.
A second application, P1219/26/FUL, has been lodged for the erection of a single-storey rear extension and associated works at Lamb Cottage, The Cross, Clearwell.
Forest of Dean District Council has confirmed that both proposals fall within conservation areas, with the Newent application also affecting the setting of a listed building.
Members of the public can inspect the applications electronically at the council offices on High Street, Coleford, during normal office hours, or online via the council’s website using the relevant planning reference number.
Find out about planning applications that affect you by visiting the Public Notice Portal.
Anyone wishing to comment on either proposal must submit representations in writing by Wednesday, November 25. Comments received will be available for public inspection on the council’s website.
