DISGRUNTLED villagers in Mitcheldean have started a petition against plans for 14,000 solar panels to be placed on an iconic hill near the former Rank Xerox site.

Breakheart Hill, situated in the east of Mitcheldean, has been pinpointed as the ideal location for a 'solar park' by environmental company Bee Green Energy.

The company was behind the installation of solar panels on a warehouse roof in Vantage Point Business Park, where they are based.
