Midweek Forest League
WITH three wins out of four Newnham-on-Severn top the Midweek Forest League.
James Bell struck 84 not out and James Kenny 30 not out as they made light work of chasing down Ruardean Hill's 122-8. Tim Yemm hammered 63 for Hill.
Cinderford St John beat Parkend by nine wickets. Steve Roberts scored 80 not out as Cinderford easily surpassed Parkend's 126-7. Luke Andrew made 50 for Parkend, but Cinderford bowler Tom Harris did some damage with 4-17.
Bailey (49) and Hurcombe (34) led Yorkley to a winning 134-5 against Lydney. Jordan Stone took 3-39. Lydney were bowled out for 87, Rudd claiming 3-15.
